A two-month journey through the Australian Coast has been cancelled in the wake of the tragic passing of an elderly woman who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a isolated island.

The elderly woman had been hiking on Lizard Island with other travelers from the vessel, but broke off from the party for a rest. The ship sailed away leaving her and came back after some time after the ship staff became aware the woman was not present.
